Kevin P. Mongeon: PhD Candidate, MBA, BMath

Kevin Mongeon

Kevin has more than 10 years of experience in the sports and entertainment industry and is currently completing a PhD in Economics at Washington State University (WSU) where he studies and teaches sports economics. Prior to attending WSU, Kevin worked in management at the Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario and in various roles in the professional sports arena with the Detroit Red Wings, and sport marketing agencies where he worked on projects with Canadian Football League. Kevin is a PhD Student at WSU, has an MBA from the University of Windsor and a Mathematics degree from a Lakehead University. Kevin can be contacted at kevin@sportsanalyticsinstitute.com

J. Michael Boyle: MS, BMath

J. Michael Boyle

Mike has more than 10 years of IT-related experience spanning multiple industries. He currently manages the software development group for backcountry.com's one deal at a time (ODAT) web properties including steepandcheap.com, brociety.com, bonktown.com, chainlove.com, tramdock.com and whiskeymilitia.com. In addition, he is the technology manager for backcountry.com's business intelligence group. Prior to his current role, Mike has held management and executive positions in both IT and in Product Management. Mike started his career in business and IT consulting serving Global 2000 clients. Mike has a Master of Science from DePaul University where he performed research in bioinformatics and data mining. Mike has Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Ron Mittelhammer: PhD, MS, BS

Ron is the Director of the School of Economic Sciences Washington State University. He is also the author of Mathematical Statistics for Economics and Business (Springer-Verlag, 1996) as well as book chapters and numerous articles in refereed economics, statistics, and econometrics journals. Professor Mittelhammer's current research focus is on econometric theory for applications to a range of fields in Economics. His skill as a teacher of statistics and econometrics has evolved over more than two decades of graduate-level teaching and is documented by teaching evaluations and awards.
